Yes, there is minimal risk involved in using the Skin-Dex therapy and it is considered a safe alternative to invasive procedures such as tumescent liposuction, lipodissolve and other non-invasive devices like the Accent, VelaShape, and Thermage, which rely on heating the tissue and can cause discomfort.

About Skin-Dex
This therapeutic massager uses focused ultrasound waves to destroy fat cells but leaves remaining body tissue unharmed. The released fat gets absorbed and eliminated by the liver. The body's natural process for removal needs about 3-7 days to begin the elimination of the fat of a single session. For optimal results a low carb healthy diet, good hydration with water and excersise are reccomended the day before each session and continued for three to seven days after each session. Immediate results may be seen. Skin-Dex is not a weight loss program or treatment for obesity, but rather a way of reshaping or reducing thickness in the desired area.This system does remarkable things from destroying fat cells and smoothing cellulite to skin tightening with the end result of improving the body's overall look. Both men and women with fat deposits are candidates for this treatment.
